Military pallbearers  line the East front of the House side of the U.S. Capitol before the remains of former U.S. President Gerald R. Ford arrived for a state Funeral December 30, 2006 in Washington, DC. Ford will lie in state in the Rotunda of the capitol until January 2, 2007 when the remains will travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he will be laid to rest at his presidential library.
