WASHINGTON, DC - May 02: Easels commemorating soldiers killed in Iraq line a hallway on the third floor of the Longworth House Office Building near the door of the office of Rep. Rahm Emanuel, D-Ill. A new policy endorsed by the Committee on House Administration (CHA), the Office of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and the Office of Compliance, will prohibit items such as easels, electronic kiosks, flag stands, and sign-up tables. The policy is being implemented to comply with the requirements of the Congressional Accountability Act and the Life Safety Code.
